Andrew Borland – handling accountancy and tax matters in Cambridge, Ely and beyond

Chartered Accountant Andrew Borland founded his practice in July 1990.

A former partner with KPMG Peat Marwick, and before that with the Cambridge firm Chater & Myhill, he is a past president of the East Anglian Society of Chartered Accountants.

He covers mainly the Cambridge and Ely areas and has clients throughout the country. His clients represent many sectors, and he welcomes both start-ups and existing businesses.

Andrew deals with all aspects of accountancy and tax matters, and provides a very prompt and and personal service. This, he believes, is one of the main reasons he attracts many new clients – both directly and through referrals.

In addition, his fees are competitive – he charges a straightforward hourly rate – and, to reduce the time he spends on a client's accounts, where appropriate he will suggest ways to make bookkeeping more simple.

While Andrew's staff are conversant with tax matters and tax legislation he personally handles all tax matters, which means clients can be certain who is dealing with the Inland Revenue on their behalf.
